What should I avoid after knee or hip injections?

Do not strain your knee or hip joint for two days after receiving this medicine. Avoid activities such as jogging, soccer, tennis, heavy lifting, or standing on your feet for a long time.

Can you walk after gel injections?

Usually, after a hyaluronic acid gel injection, you need to rest the joint for at least 24 hours but up 48 hours. Also, you should avoid prolonged standing or walking. You do not have to remain completely immobile or bedridden and may participate in light household chores.

How long should you rest after knee injections?

It helps to rest the joint for 24 hours after the injection and avoid heavy exercise. It's safe to take everyday painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen. General activities of daily living can be engaged, being mindful to keep weight bearing to a minimum.
